This Earth-like planet in a fictional solar system is orbited by a lot of moons that frequently eclipse the sun of the system. In such events, the local predators emerge from their cloud cover to go harvesting.
The cloudscape was created using some of my photos taken on a plane trip between Germany and Italy, with the addition of a photo from the NASA image library. The flying dragons are mostly a blend of snakes, alligators and bat wings. As always the elements are tied together with plenty of overpainting. Hope you like it!

the clouds look super complex and how all the stocks suit with eachother and look purely as one piece, not several ones

It's partly drawn and partly made with photos I took on a flight. The cloud formations were amazing so I had to do something with them

This looks....awesome. I can't descrobe why, but for some reason this is just paralyzing me. I couldn't even say what exactly is special about it. I'm not a fan of those creatures. Maybe it's the beauty and liberty of the sky?
