I hope people get this...I've always wondered why the show is called "Bleach," and a while ago I decided this must be the reason. I mean, in every episode at least one character bleeds basically all their blood away during a fight, so, yeah...

IF I remember right, it's to do with the legend of Shinigami. Normally, they're represented using black, but Kubo didn't want to use black, but the opposite color was too plain for his liking. So he called it Bleach, because that kinda connects the two.
SOMETHING like that, but uh...that's a really messed up explanation.
