Yes, it does. Kyuubi must at least respect him, he knows Naruto is able to say "no" to him even in spite of the ever-lasting chakra.
And he also asked Sasuke not to kill Naruto (I don't think it's just because he's inside Naruto, it almost looked like a menace).
Sometimes I think that if Madara offered Kyuubi to come out, he will ask if it will kill Naruto. So you're not the only one who's crazy about this!

When Kyuubi threatened Sasuke that he would regret it if he killed Naruto that was the moment when I really started thinking "this supposedly evil fox demon must actually like Naruto" ...Unfortunately all my friends just say oh no he only said that because he's inside Naruto and he would die. But the thing is if Kyuubi died with Naruto then Sasuke would have nothing to be afraid of so what would be the point of threatening him? They way it is, it almost sounds as though if Naruto was killed Kyuubi would go and avenge his death. So thank you for agreeing with me haha ^_^
I am afraid of Madara trying to remove Kyuubi from Naruto because the sharingan can control him... I hope that doesn't happen.
