I do have a question...how do I save as an actual GIF. Because as soon as I save to Web and Devices it takes me to Internet Explorer but when I save it as a GIF Image it won't be animated?
Don't know if that made sense but everything is fine except for that.

Save to web and devices. When you upload it to dA, it will look normal.
(gifs open on the internet normally.)

Repeating adding noise to a black frame with 100 percent won't produce random noise, it will have the same effect as duplicating the frame. The amount of noise needs to be changed a little on each layer to get random noise.

I don't know if it's just me being crazy, but if you do the Add Noise for all four layers on 100%, you're basically creating the exact same layer four times, and there will be no animation. In order to do this you need to change the percent to like 5 percent lower each time you do the Add Noise in order to get an animation.
Otherwise nice tutorial.

i got so far but i don't have image ready i have photoshop elements HELP!

i worked it out and i'll post how i did it here in case anyone else has my problem
(read if u have elements)
once you've got all ur images and your "done with photoshop" copy ur oringal sig image and merge it with each of your layers then it should work fine if u save to web and click animate hope this helps

Hmmm I followed it exactly but the animation doesn't work. I do have the rain effect but it isn't animated =/ (I saved it as a GIF)
