Description
Basically a PEN TOOL tutorial.I'm switching over to OpenCanvas after I finish this one piece's lineart though... [the one at the bottom of the tutorial].
Is there a Pen Tool like thing in oC? Doesn't seem to be...
I'm just going to hope my pencil sketches are always going to be neat enough. Hahaha.
And I could draw big and then strink it, if I insist on doing it digitally.

yay thank you. . i dont have a tablet, I'm a complete beginner to photoshop, and I couldn't work out how to make nice, clean lines. they're always all wobbly and ugly. so this will hopefully help. I found the pen tool almost impossible to use before I checked out your tutorial. I'm pretty sure this will change things. thanx.

Whenever I use the pen tool in Photoshop it always looks too stiff... it always looks better done 'traditionally' with a tablet.

Yours doesn't but mine always does... it's why I always saved perfectly straight lines or lines that are too dame long for paths.
DO you zoom in and do short strokes that you shape by erasing?

Ha.
Well, if you look at the drawing at the bottom, that's the picture at 100%, so I don't really need to Zoom In. Heh, it's for the colouring. In fact 90% of a picture I'm on Zoom Out.
But I guess you meant zoomed-in-closer-than-most-times... depends on my mood or how bothered I am in making the lines good. Hair, Eyes and Fingers, mainly?
And I do those to-be-erased lines on another layer to the lines they touch, so no need.

Nah, it's nothing to be sorry about. It actually makes me happy to see it. Any possibility you might send me a preview of where you are now? xD
Hah, same here. I can't seem to do anything. At all. Dx

Sure, after I finish this arm!
All of this delay was all because of this arm... But I think I've got a position that looks right now...
You, too? D'x
