Conventions are awesome if you go with the right people. I've been to this one anime convention (although it's more free-for-all now) three times, first two with people that made it uninteresting, and the last time with people that were much more engaging with the activities. I'm hoping someday to do some of the stuff like their karaoke and masquerade, but I need the right group. ^_^;
