How do you paint over the lineart? I mean, i know how to do that on another layer, but it looks horrible and yours looks realistic... Im not sure if u understand me, sorry for the bad english.

I saw you put the base colors underneath the sketch layer, but when you began painting, did you paint above the sketch layer?

Fantastic! I must ask, however, what do you do with the sketch? Do you merge it onto the picture itself? Do you just erase it? I've been struggling with this with my painting style, and for me merging is just far too messy.

one thing I've yet to understand, is...
Are all the layers that you have the base colors on MERGED the whole time?
do you do the base colors on the same layer as your rough sketch too?

yeah I merged layers a lot, and I painted over my sketches lines on the same layer

This is a great tutorial! There's one thing I don't understand, though. How did you go from step 2 (the base colors) to coloring the detailed work? How did you get rid of all those scribbly lines?
