Well, I've recently began playing Cuphead, then after some time I've got an interesting idea about drawing some of my favourite characters and OCs. I would have included a few other OCs like Nick, Martha, Dominik and etc., but I have a bad habit of getting bored in the middle of drawing and then procrastinate by doing other things, so... I didn't bother doing that.

I know that 30's cartoons didn't have any colours, but I preferred for this to have colours or at least grayish colours. I wasn't fully satisfied how Kelsie and Joe turned out in this since they barely have any changes, Shelly turned out alright, while Woody and Lena turned out the best in this (or maybe it might be their expressions). I drew Lena suplexing a boulder because of a line in UT where you face Undyne "Undyne suplexes a huge boulder... just because she can!", I was even going to draw a separate picture about that and I may do that (if I'm not busy and/or lazy). Either way, considering this art-style I still tried to make them seem dynamic than my other pictures. I think this style very much fits NfH.

But why exactly did Cuphead influenced me into drawing such thing and not by a 30's cartoon. Because I haven't watched one in a long time, and the other reason is that I was kind of impressed as an animator (even who almost only does 3D animation) how the game nearly perfectly replicated that art-style. I may have thought about drawing that even if it wasn't for that game, but then that would be much later than needed.
