Alrighty! I have two questions, and they both involve the background! >3
#1: Say you want to add a background. You pull up another canvas, flesh out the background, then go to paste your character in there...and the background is covered by the background of white that you had in the canvas you drew the character! How do you fix this?
#2: In relation to Question 1, what if you just want a transparent background for your pic, like if you wanted to put it on your journal? How do you make it that way?

#1 When you copy/paste your character onto the background, your little side toolbar is on the selection one, right? On the selection options, it's got two things--one where there's a cube with a white background on a picture, and then the same cube but it's background goes with the picture (notmakingsenseIdon'tthinkuhh). You'll be selected on the top cube, so click on the bottom cube, and make sure that your RIGHT-CLICK color is white, and it should transparentize right? 8D; (Tell me if this doesn't help, I take screenies 
#2 MS Paint, unfortunately, doesn't support transparency. So I've always had to finish what I want on MS Paint and then transfer it into photoshop/The Gimp and make the background transparent that way. (They need to make MS Paint transparency-enabled -_- )
