Description Dusk at night. lol. Monday's Dusk was always my favorite of the Morrow Days' head officers. (I guess that's what you'd call them.) Granted, he's been promoted/ changed offices to Noon, but that's ok. He's still awesome.

For those who don't know what in the world I'm talking about, Monday's Dusk is from Garth Nix's Keys to the Kingdom series. Without him, none of the series would have taken place.

I've been wanting to draw this guy for a while. Only recently, though, have I come up with a design that I liked. And I gave him gaiters. Because gaiters are cool. Not that you can really tell he has them on... Was also playing with perspective on this. I think I failed. lol

Looks rather calm, doesn't he? Never really struck me as the type to get really worked up over small things.

Fabulous. I've been looking through a lot of fan art for Keys to the Kingdom, and this is the only one where Dusk really looked like how I imagined him.

Hmmm... On Scamandros, the tattoos provide an interesting challenge. I always loved the Mariner and the Piper, as well. But then, there really isn't much KttK art out there anyway.

lol. You have tapped into a bibliophile's dream question there, my friend. But, in keeping with that genre, the Abhorsen series by Mr. nix is good if you haven't read it already. A bit darker in theme, but still pretty good. Recently finished the Mistborn series by Brandon Sanderson and was rather impressed. Just to name a couple of series.

THIS IS SO BEAUTIFUL! I love Dusk in "The Keys to the Kingdom"! I've read all the books up to Superior Saturday and can't wait to read Lord Sunday, though right now I'm re-reading the books.

Lord Sunday was apparently released on the 16th here in the U.S. I shall have to look for it.

That's really good! Monday's Dusk is one of my favorite characters. I wish I could do that on Tegaki e. xPP The lower wing looks a little odd but otherwise it's incredible! I especially love the blue lighting in the air and on the wings. : ) Great job!
