Description
I adore Carmen's character. Who can't respect a thief who can not only steal something like Mount Everest, but can get away with it???First pic of DeDraMo. So far, I have, indeed, gotten a sketch of some sort done each day. My biggest concern? Running out of paper in my sketchbook, as it is coming down to the last 10 or so pages.
But yes. This was done, oddly enough, Dec 1 as a warm up. Then I just went ahead and inked it since I haven't gotten to ink something with any care given to the weighting. Then, well, I needed to figure out again which markers were drying up or going empty and... well, voila!
So yes. Ok. Going back to sketching ponies now.
EDIT:
10/12/15
Cleaned it up a bit. There were some things that have been bugging me. I haven't changed all the flaws, but it's a bit better.

^-^ Glad to hear! Itβs definitely the old school version of Carmen, but I liked her mystique a lot.Β

Hell yes. I loved the original 90s Carmen cartoon as a kid and the video games! She's definitely mysterious, and awesome!

I think that game is probably the best educational game ever. The characters were amazing... especially Carmen.

Wow, I love it! Nice and vivid and classy. I don't know the character, but she must be amazing to steal something like Mount Everest. Is she from a book? Or a movie?

Ohmydearhoney... No, she's not in a book or movie. lol. She was from an educational game and tv show called "Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego?" There were tons of spin-offs, including "Where in the USA..." and "Where in Time...." She was the classy archnemesis of every gumshoe and she had a seemingly unending list of henchmen with horribly punny names and had the most awesome theme song EVAH. [link]

I used to play the "Where in the World is Carmen SanDiego?" game all the time when I was a kid! >v< Not that I was any good at it, but it was still really fun! ^^

Lol. Seriously. I mostly just liked the telephone thing that would dial up agents. I couldn't ever figure out the language cues.

Oh Carmen SanDiego, you're so freaking epic. How does she steal what she steals and everyone loves her for doing it?
Anyways, this is an amazing picture! I love Carmen's "what shall I steal today?" expression and ladylike composure. It is a lovely tribute to this talented thief.

So true... I rewatched one of the episodes just for kicks and giggles. Man, I did NOT remember just how little time the kids on Where in the World had to place the markers at the end! 45 seconds for 8 markers and 12 possible places could be called! No wonder Carmen got away so many times.
Thanks, luv! Glad you approve!

Starting to. Still not satisfied. Going to have to settle on something, though. I've given myself a goal to have this done before Hobbit.
