In 2401, the USS Avalon contacted Starfleet Command for advisement after it detected a spatial anomaly. During its contact, the anomaly expanded, and threw the ship some distance from its original position.
Just watched the first episode of Season two of Star Trek Picard and was pleased to see an Akira class, a fan favorite starship. After last season's rather unseemly copy/paste fleet debacle, it's nice to see familiar Starfleet ships again. Love the first episode, i hope they can keep this quality and don't lose theirself in irrelevant plots and bad scripts like last season.
