The cockpit based on an E-Wing i build years before this cockpit. It was easier to use a already exist model as base as beginning from the ground.

Yeah, the door must be open, but i have no hangar bay for the Akira class.

I would definitely want sensors if that's all you can see out of it. Appears to be a restricted view out into space.
