New Orleans and Nebula class during the 2360s.
Because of their interchangeable mission pods, the Nebula and New Orleans class were two very universal spaceships. Without major refit work and long stays in the shipyards, the two classes were able to cover almost all mission profiles. There are many different variants for the pods, for example torpedopods, sensor pods, tractor beam pods, hangar pods or deflector pods which are usually in stock in the shipyards and can be exchanged if necessary before a mission.
