Loving this. The lighting of the clouds is almost supernatural (which sort of goes with the title) and the feeling that goes with swinging is perfect. Great angle and composition. Bravissimi!

The unintentional if often the best part of artwork because it isn't planned and so is pulled off better than that which is. Or so I've found. No one ever tells me they like the things I work so hard to get right; they always like the things that I didn't even try at. And they're always right.

This reminds me of the way I'd feel when I was a kid and I'd lay in the grass (or on the trampoline) and stare up at the sky. Sounds all cute and stuff, but it freaked me out! I felt like at any moment I'd fall off the planet and into space. It's a very trippy/creepy feeling, and why I'm afraid of heights to this day.

I've often that feeling when staring at objects of great vertical size -- or when I'm in a warehouse or something equally tall and if only for a quick second feel myself dangling from its rafters.

Well done Derek You made something plain look completly ethereal I love how it gives such a simple playfull act the depth and self-introspective nature of something deeper, like meditating, for example. Something about the photo seems very lasting and deep to me.
I mean - It'll stay in my head, and the photo will make me reflect on my own personal experiences and be a little self-introspective myself

It's an ultra-wide angle shot, so -- yeah, it's naturally far more freaky than is standard swinging.
