Camera + laying on my back while stuffed between mounds of sand. Rotate the shot ninety degrees counter-clockwise and you'll see what I saw.
Thanks!

More so a lack of apprehension in rotating shots for the hell of it and liking the results.
Thanks.

I play around with that a bit, too. It's just, this one looks like you were on your back in the sand. What I really like about your shots is the way I feel like I'm somewhere very specific. I'm not just in a general location watching a swinger, I'm underneath the next swing. Y'know? It's just not something I've seen in many photographs, lately.

I was on my back in the sand...hmm. I hadn't realized that any shots I'd taken evoked a particular rather than a general perspective / feeling. I oftentimes worry, actually, that whatever I photograph lacks specificity. I'm happy, though, that your viewpoint is contrary to mine; I rarely think of stuff I've taken objectively despite that my goal is to be as universal as I can in whatever it is that I'm attempting to communicate.
Thank you. Curiousity mandates I peruse your stuff, now.

Perhaps it's something I notice because I like to put the viewer in my shoes. I really want them to see the beauty that I see, but most of my images come out looking so flat and poorly composed that I don't think I succeed at that.
You're very welcome - I look forward to seeing more.

stunning. i think its the sky that gives it is crowning glory. such contrast between the soft swerling clouds and the angular nature of the swings.
a perfect shot. nicely done.
all the Best

"Crowning glory" -- I like that descriptor and it's quite humbling. Thank you.

Awesome shot... the clouds make your eyes constantly move around the image, never quite sure where to focus. Makes you feel the movement of the swinger.
