Did you use the Airbrush Detail brush for all the coloring?

There is a Smudge tool in Painter -- in Blenders. But I never use it... for blending I use Grainy Water.
I did some experimenting, and I found it helpful to have "Pick Up Underlying Color" checked when blending colors on seperate layers. Before I found your tutorial, I used to do all my shading and highlights on the same layer as the base color -- never again.
Thank you!

xD; Uuh. I don't really have the time to make tutorials and such right now, and that pic is from like.. 2 years ago, so I don't feel like going over it much. I think I used the watercolor tool for the brush.. but I'm not sure.

I LOVE this! but i hope this isn't a stupid question, how do you clean it up afterwards? i've been doing it the slow way with the lasso and just command-zing it all away HA!

evanescent-adoration In reply to Prinsez [2008-05-08 20:58:30 +0000 UTC]
Nah~ I used to always wonder about that too lol. I just use the eraser tool to clean up the picture after I finish coloring all the parts.

Sorry for the late reply! xD;; I used only one brush for the entire pic, actually: Airbrush/Detail airbrush. It's cos I'm still trying to figure out how to use the program myself too lol.

Haha, that's fine :} I found the Acrylic brush pretty handy, though when I get Painter back, I'm going to try the airbrush. I like the way it looks.

haha. Do er up.
I use the opaque detail brush, I think. I'm waiting for the program to come in, or else I would confirm that...
