Description

The Ialwe are another human offshoot the Arbolicans would encounter in their quest to reclaim Earth's empire - in fact, one of the only two other human races that had achieved interstellar travel on their own. Thus, they were among the only races that could pose a challenge to the might of the invaders.

Ialwe had a rather peaceful culture centered around creation and harmony with their creations. They were a new civilization, young and idealistic, and experiencing a golden age of technological advancement spurred by artificial intelligence and robotics. They saw beauty not only in nature, but also in artifice as an extension and enhancement of nature. As such, they heavily augmented themselves in aesthetically pleasing ways.

The Arbolicans, scarred by their own experiences with A.I., believed the Ialwe to be a ticking time bomb. They were exterminated in a bitter war that lasted almost an Earth century.
