The simple addition of Red Ink would make Splatoon one of the most gory games out there. Probably why red ink isn't a thing.Well, even if it's just red ink, it makes you think just a little too hard about what's actually happening.

Actually I think there already is red ink, if not maybe it's like scarlet red?
I do know for a fact that there was red ink for first splatfest in the U.S. though

These ink colors are excluded from the game:
Black- Boring. Like, squid ink in real life is black already.
Red- BLOOD
White- Um... sexual jokes...? White ink resembles semen okay
Brown- Probably poop
Grey- Similar to black, it looks dull.
Rainbow- It's a lot harder for the system to juggling what you should and shouldn't step on, and the color changing animation might enhance the lag... Also people might have problems after watching flashing ink colors.

I understand the the Red ink thing, but can SOMEONE explain the white and brown ink thing to me? (And I swear, if it deals with something racist, I'm gonna slap someone silly...)

The best thing about Splatoon is that it's a shooter that isn't rated M for once. The addition of red ink would put that into question however
