One of the last assignments for my art class this year. I'm so glad my teacher gave me the green light to use Photoshop... it's really helping me improve my minimal digital painting skills, while avoiding the real thing.Sonuva-- I forgot to sign it. I always do that...

No, I taught myself how to color digitally. I didn't really learn anything new in this class in the way of color theory and shading... I got that when I was around 11-13ish.

Spooky, but it looks great. The perspective is nice and I like how you left the construction lines in the piece. Is there any particular reason you wanted to draw lamp posts on a beach? Not that you need a reason, it's good practice. I hope you add your name to it.

I've had art class all year this year, and I gotta say, with the homework assignment being to draw 5 sketches a week of whatever we want, I've drawn a LOT more this year than ever before! Now I must move on to Photoshop!

Nice! I like the shading, texturing, and the overall look of it. I had art last 9 weeks, and the best work I made was a shaded sketch of a hammerhead shark underwater.

Oh-ho, this is nice. o_o Once it's marked (or if it's already marked) you could add a character, but it looks nice and tranquil here, too.
Lighting's pretty, differing tones of yellow a little offputting - but understandable, as you're trying to show distances in lighting. But I'm getting smidgy with detail, here - you'd get full marks, IMHO.
Out of curiosity, do you have Painter?

No, no Painter. This is Photoshop Elements. I did the light in that weird greenish yellow because I was trying to make it kinda creepy... I think I might take that lamp in the front and draw a character next to it, who knows?

Ahh, I should've clarified. I meant 'did you have Painter?' (It's apparent that this is Photoshop. XP) I think you could do some pretty cool things with that program. Maybe ask for it as a gift, sometime, and play around with it, or download a free trial - it's system is quite a tad different from Photoshop, but it might be up your alley.
Ah, okay. I gotcha.
That sounds like a nice idea. 
(And great job with the Archie voice acting. XP I listened to it on Darkspeed's radio program. It was cheesy, good fun. ^^)
