Issue 10, Page 17.Since it's not much of a mystery, let's welcome a new character to the comic-- SCOURGE THE HEDGEHOG. Or according to my Tumblr, "Dia de los Muertos Scourge". Alternately, he was gonna say "I got a bone to pick with you" but I was afraid the universe might implode if I used a joke that bad.
This is gonna be fun.

well, technically Scourge was "Evil Sonic" which Ken Penders CAN'T claim copyright because he would be copyrighting Sonic's name and Design, PLUS, Ian Flynn was the one who introduced him as "Scourge" both the name and design. Therefore, it's not impossible for Scourge to return in the future!
I even have a theory on that: Remember in Sonic '06 how Mephiles took Shadow's form by taking his shadow? What if the Dark Gaia Energy inside Sonic does something similar when the "Unleashed Arc" is over? creating a New Universe version of Scourge!

I really want to have Scourge back in the Archie series. Eh, who knows, maybe Evan and Ian will make some kind of a deal. I mean, he let her write the story for the Silver Age storyline for Archie, so it could happen. But until then...

we can only hope and wait. but whatever happens I trust Ian will give us something awesome (I'm still crossing my fingers that he's gonna be the one writting the anniversary game)
in addition, since Archie has been bringing back forgotten characters back recently (With Breezie, Von Schlemmer, and Madonna). I personally would like to see them Bring Sonia and Manic back (from Sonic Underground, though not necesarilly as Sonic's siblings, maybe have them be from a different Kindgom or something.)

One question, Evan. How did Scourge die? Sonic got killed by mind-control Shadow and Tikal made him the Guardian of the Chaos Emerald but how did Scourge died and become a Ghost who feeds on Anarchy Beryl?
