god okay... everything revealed in this page is just perfect. the fact that shadow still has a job after 100 years and it's just some crappy entry-level thing. sonic moping and sitting ("sitting", more like just emphasized hovering) on the stick, and his cute little earrings. metal sonic looking simultaneously doofy and clumsy, while also terrifying and threatening. hysterical, dramatic, perfect. this comic really has improved in leaps and bounds and i'm not even caught up yet, i'm pretty blown away.
