So... The Sonic that Nicole trapped in Metal Sonic is the Sonic native to our current universe, While the Sonic that's with Silver is from a similar parallel universe doesn't realize he's in the wrong universe, and Scourge could have potentially been in the correct universe, but the other world Sonic knows his home as Earth, while the current world could be referred to as Mobius, and now native world Sonic is trying to get himself out of Metal Sonic. TOO MANY SANICS!!!

I don't think that is true(don't know how to say that)... Personnaly I think that the 7 chaos emeralds are like Horcruxes for Voldemort in Harry Potter book.
I mean, Sonic exist in the seven chaos emeralds, but that means there are 7 Sonics... So STILL MORE SANICS.

Metal Sonic needs an AI and Nicole used ghost Sonic. The debate is how many Sonics are in that world and which one is the original. Scourge, the Sonic in Metal Sonic, and Sonic that is with Silver.

Well EvanStanley's pretty much confirmed that Scourge came from the archie universe, as for the two Sonic's however; all that I know is that the "free" Sonic was with Tikal while the other was getting trapped in metal

Sonic is the guardian of the Chaos Emeralds which have the ability to warp space and time. It is only logical that there is going to be chaos trying to understand.

After Sonic was put into Metal Sonic, Silver went to find a chaos emerald, which is where the other Sonic appeared. So there's a theory that as Sonic's tied to the chaos emeralds, there is a ghostly rendition of him for every one. Whether they all exist at the same time or if it's a 7 lives kind of thing, we're not sure.
