One thing I noticed that's kinda weirding me out now is that in the third panel, Sonic's ears are forward, so he's clearly jerking his head back. In the second panel, they're more back, like he's moving forward, but his pose isn't suggesting that, especially with his quills on the far side of his face the way they are, suggesting he's moving back.
Am I just reading it wrong, or was that intentional?

It was intentional, but as you said it doesn't read well-- I should have put his ears in more of a neutral position in panel 2.Β

Nuts! Just when I get the impression I'm going to see more than just a flash of Shadow versus The New Chaotix, something happens to distract the flow of the comic from that thread of the story. Sonic's attitude sure changed...again. But then it's not as if what's going on here isn't insane enough to make even a ghost do a double-take, and I suppose he's focused a little more on logic than force to reach Shadow. Heh, heh! I'm sure that'll change by the end of the issue.
LOL! Is there a specific reason you included that upside-down ! in panel 4? I think those are mainly used in Spanish.

Two things: A) I think you're over-analyzing what a ghost could do do and B)...You're giving the creator this comic ideas that could be bad for the heroes.

I wonder, could Sonic possibly possess Shadow (like we all suspect he did by accident way back when he was distressed over his other friends' deaths & was freaking out as a ghost, AND how he did with Shadow and issue or two back) to keep him from attacking? Then maybe someone could break the mind-control thingy and that would set Shadow free. Don't know if it would technically work, but its an idea.Β
