Your sister's obsessed with a robot. Your other sister is a ghost. Your girlfriend is a firebender and her dad seems to be a member of a secret spy organization fighting the government. That and in your family, ice cream is serious business. I think the 'normal' ship set sail before you were even born, dude.

Oh hey Evan, I was wondering, when did Silver start having back spines? In the begin inning he didn't because in these days apparently the hedgehogs have to wear clothes and thus shave their quills off. Except for a while now he's been having spines on his back. Just curious. Is that his new official design?

I started drawing Silver with back quills in Issue 12-- mostly in an attempt to get closer to the official character models. for an in-universe explanation, I'd say he didn't trim them while Sonic and he were running around the city for a little while looking for Shadow so they grew back in, and his sweater in Issue 11 was heavy enough fabric to flatten the quills down. I don't think he'll be trimming them again anytime soon.
