First reading this comic, I hadn't read the Sonic comics- thus knowing nothing about Scourge and Fiona...
Reading it back, I now understand...

I suppose one could say Scourge participates in equal opportunity violence given that he has attacked female characters and even kids (in lieu of Tails and Miles, both eleven years old, being on the receiving end of his violence). Though, I can't say his being brutal and aggressive is a constructive decision...

Considering all that he was going through, like his father neglecting him, being dethroned, and not to mention Zone Jail, you can't really blame him for not wanting to express his emotions through anything other than violence.

At first, I was stupefied by seeing Scourge having self-esteem issues but then when you realize he's the opposite of Sonic, it makes sense.

Granted, it was hinted at that he didn't have too much of a good childhood,
his dad (anti jules) brought on a time in the anti world called the great peace, or something like that (in sonic's world, it was the great war, a war between overlanders, whom closely resembled humans, and Mobians, like sonic.)
Anti Jules had his hands tied attending to the anti world, thus not spending much time with scourge, causing scourge to feel ignored, so when the peace was ending, scourge and his Suppression squad began causing chaos in Β the anti world, prompting anti eggman to take action.
Scourge tried to keep things going, he didn't want peace, most likely cause he felt it was what took his father's love and attention away. It's implied that Scourge killed his father.

Do you have by any chance a version without the blurred out lines? It's just that so I can see the expression in their eyes and it currently reminds me of the censorship in the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure anime. Been enjoying your comic, keep up the good work.
