I see myself in Scourge right now. Also I see a bit of Sonic coming out of him there.
But Scourge must be desperate to escape the clutches of cloud jerk if he's going along with this plan. He needs the anarchy beryl to survive and he's turning against someone clearly overpowering him and can easily rip the essence right from his ghostly form so I suppose Scourge is at the end of his rope. It's this or nothing.

I actually like the censoring. It makes the comic even more charming with how you do that, plus it makes it easier for audience members to show their family members this comic without cringy cuss words to cause hesitation haha
I feel a lot of this comic's charm would be lost if the profanity words like the ones no doubt Scourge would spew out weren't censored the way they are, honestly, so good move on that! (It's really nice to for once read a comic without hardcore cuss words being thrown your way just to make a scene/character/story seem "edgy" and "mature." A comic can still be mature (like this one definitely is) without showing those kinds of words in their entirety.

For some reason I get weird out by the fact Vennie's "don't get hurt" speech happens at the same time she pulls off the shield bubble. This is a strange opposition between words and actions that I just can't ignore.
