The detail you put into the reredos is remarkable. Looks like you really went for accuracy here. Day of the Dead tends to be super-colorful, so I can see why it was probably easier to do black and white.
Hmm... I was under the impression nothing was permitted to block the tabernacle, though here the flowers and pictures obviously are.

I put the ofrenda there mostly for narrative convenience, since this section of the story is heavily condensed... it's likely it would be placed somewhere else in a real-world situation. I was looking at pictures of this church and they seem to usually have flowers set up in that area so maybe it's OK with their floor plan? You do make an excellent point, though-- even when I do research I always miss something!

LOL! They're always very careful to set up flowers on the side or directly below the tabernacle. It has to be accessible during Mass, after all, plus it's simply offensive to it cover up since it's practically considered to be the "throne of God" (in layman's terms).

I get the feeling, ESPECIALLY from this page that the only reason Shadow endulges in Sonic's desires no matter how annoying is because he feels that he is obligated as a friend since he killed him and everyone else. 😟 How sad!

Talking about education: This church just reminds me of the fact, that I am learning at school about the different epoches of history of art.
I just hold my presentation last week (best presentation of the day/week 
I could totally tell you A LOT about this church (I think it's even from the epoche I hold my presentation about; but a different church)
