Yeah, that was an oversight, Buttnik, going to all the trouble of creating a shield to block the ghost Sonic not native to your dimension and, as far as we know, hadn't visited before today, but totally neglecting to come up with a similar shield for the usual Sonic you no doubt fight on an almost daily basis for years.

I love how the still alive Sonic is so surprised that ghost-Sonic attacked Eggman so viciously.

1) What does STC Robotnik mean that he's been keeping an eye on GOTF Sonic's world for a while? 2) And why isn't the STC world getting destroyed? Two episodes of Sonic Boom showed what happens if two versions of the same character are in the same dimension.

I am loving this.
Hmmmm, I wonder if the STC Robotnik/Eggman keeps ketting bonked/stompped on the head, that maybe the bump/lump on his head will slowly retrede over time bringing him closer to modern eggman's design.
(I mean STC isn't one to have avoided new looks in the past for updating character designs.)
Also tikal meeting Dr. Zachary should be interesting...

...Well no it's not, but the universe that alive-Sonic here is from is based on Sonic the Comic, which was an official sonic comic series produced in England. As such, everyone in the comic was written with British accents, and there were tons of British cultural references. We're just continuing that here.
in Ghosts of the Future Sonic's home dimension, England does indeed exist; they're on a version of Earth.
