Please can we not have a comic featuring 2 dead Sonics, Things would kinda become more of the same because Dead Sonic 2 over there would have no idea of the rules of being a Ghost and end up staying in the background.

Also I was excited about the prospect of having Sonic team up with a living version of himself, it would allow for some interesting scenes and conversations playing off of that dynamic, but now they are both dead, and if what StC Sonic said ended with "pure energy", then GOTF Sonic is pretty much MiA.

All of that makes me very disappointed of this page.

Unless if Okida is lying in that description, or they somehow find a way to reverse brain-death.

My guess is Sonic's spirit was drawn to what it see as it's hale and healthy body, and he semi-sorta overshadowed the past Sonic. I say semi-sorta because this may lead to a weird two minds controlling one body thing, kinda like what you see in T-KO.

This is, however, just a guess.
