Nice page. Though I'd have suggested for the last panel to be a zoomed out bird's eye view when when Shadow teleported away to really empathize that he left the room. I forget it sometimes, too, but we need not have to see a character's head and face when doing a long conversation. Zooming in on Gingers hand or just her muzzle to focus on her worried expression or even focusing on certain background elements for a panel breaks things up from being talking heads and too similar shot composition. Mixing it up and experimenting more wouldn't hurt. Go wild. o 3o

Hey, I'm completely on Ginger's side! Though I would have expected this conversation to take place much, much earlier. It feels as though the parents found out about all this and then just accept it at face value, and vice versa when it comes to their own secret activities. Everyone is happy letting things sit around without asking a few well-founded questions until now?
And what exactly does Shadow have to be nervous about? Unless there's something important he and Sonic never said....which wouldn't surprise me, now that I think about it.
Not to be a grammar-Nazi, but the semi-colon just doesn't fit in the first speech-bubble. His sentence naturally comes to a full stop and the second part can easily stand on its own, so they don't have to be connected.

Yeah, this reaction is coming in VERY late-- mostly cause the parents themselves were introduced later in the story (other than Mr. Cat, but he wasn't really involved in the plot). The parents were not originally planned to be full characters but since they are now I figured late was better than never.Β
Yeah Shadow's being asked questions he doesn't know the answer to, and he doesn't know how to feel about being held responsible for the kids' welfare either.

But the real question isn't so much why you haven't found the time until now to show this, but rather why in the context of the story haven't any of the characters thought to say, "Hey, now that it's obvious all of us have been sneaking around keeping secrets, why don't we explain what's going on to each other so that we can work as a team to accomplish our goals." Mostly it seems as though their parents are the ones purposely keeping the others in the dark because nothing has been shown to explain why Sonic has been scrubbed from history, what the purpose of the New Chaotix is, why their two families in particular happen to have high levels of Chaos energy, and how Nicole ties into all this. The only thing Silver kept from them is that he was working with two hedgehogs (one dead and the other semi-immortal) to collect the Chaos Emeralds from various realities. I'd say they still need to own up more than he does.
(Gratuitous or not, semi-colons still have to be used correctly. I'm more of a hyphen-fanatic myself.)
