Issue 6, Page 2.Again with the text-heavy expository part of the story... Not that entertaining, but necessary. Oh well.
Sonic and the Secret Rings should have been called "Sonic Heartburn". Much funnier.
Speaking of SATSR, it seems that on the cover of Sonic and the Black Knight, the "Sonic Storybook Series" is labeled as a new sub-series. Yay!
Hope you like the slightly different coloring style!

Well,the fire is SOnic's life force. Cause,as Shara said before,the collector of the rings must be sacrificed to obtain the power all seven posess and Sonc USED the world rings to turn into Darkspine(sorta) :nosebleeds:

Her story is called "The Sorceress of the Black Isle". It's not a very common one... I read it once, but I haven't been able to find a copy since.

If I recal correctly, wasn't the fire on Sonic's chest slowly burning through him in the Secret Rings video game? So why would it show up again just whan he gets a little (check that, "a lot") angry?

This story arc is not very well written, but the reason given is the World Rings require a price to be used; a life. So Sonic actually evoked their power, which re-ignited the fire that burns away his life. If he did anything substantial with the Rings, he would die.

I understand how Sonic had a blue flame in the previous issue, blue fire being super hot, and Darkspine being very powerful, it's justifiable. But in his normal self? What's the reasoning behind that?

In Japanese mythology, blue flames are associated with ghosts. And honestly, blue fire just looks cool. I think on the page it first showed up I was coloring and randomly decided blue would look nice, and then I was stuck with it.

Hey, the coloring is getting better by the page! That's awesome. In the fourth panel, Shahrah's head looks like it might slide off her neck. That's my only critique. The middle panel looks amazing.
