Issue 6, Page 2.Again with the text-heavy expository part of the story... Not that entertaining, but necessary. Oh well.
Sonic and the Secret Rings should have been called "Sonic Heartburn". Much funnier.
Speaking of SATSR, it seems that on the cover of Sonic and the Black Knight, the "Sonic Storybook Series" is labeled as a new sub-series. Yay!
Hope you like the slightly different coloring style!

Sonic's simmered down, now... and he's regained his chest-flame, too. Did the use of the World Rings spur that, or...?

The flame started because he partially evoked the World Rings... they're feeding off his energy. And it's blue because Sonic does not have standard life energy, seeing as he's really still dead and all... but mostly because it just looks cool.
