'Chaos Drives' are those things that pop out of G.U.N robots in Sonic Adventure 2 when you destroy them. They're like power-sources. I'm not sure if they appeared in any other games (Sonic '06 had similar things, I think...).

Sicily caught Shadow by surprise, and he really does care if his bike is is bad condition. Sonic is in the backyard, watching Vennie and will soon go talk to Silver in two pages. Silver isn't tired, he's depressed and lying about it.
All this will be shown in the story very soon.

Y'know, Shadow may get told off in my fan fiction (by a girl, no less), quite often, but this is perhaps the best one I've ever seen. And Sicily used words, not the threat of getting lit on fire XD
