Issue 8, Page 7.Poor Sonic. He looks like a confused puppy.
So... Many... Words...! I think this is my wordiest page ever. But they are important words! I tried to slip a little bit of recap in on the main plot just as a refresher, as well as move Silver's character forward. Doesn't sound too bad to me. Also, I promise this is the wordiest page in the issue. You won't have to deal with anything this bad again for a while. Now issue 9? That's a different story. But you don't need to worry about that!

I knew he would snap, but I thought he would be much more furious, not to the point of having the FCC shut him up, but rather stuff like this:
"Get lost Sonic. Ever since you came into my life it's been a raging whirlpool. You wrecked my parent's house, destroyed my relationship with Blaze, and this whole la-di-da adventure of yours has left me on the brink of loosing my mind!"
"Oh I'm sorry, did you think that this would be a piece of cake and nothing would drastically change in my life? Give me one good reason why this is so freakin important and it can't wait another two centuries!"
From there, you have three answers to choose from:
Answer A: "Shut up and just leave me alone. Go find someone else to save the world."
Answer B: "Give me two weeks. If I haven't come back to you, you can go find them yourself."
Answer C: "Alright, where do we start?"
But nonetheless, great work. I hope I'm not being a burden.

You're perfectly right; Silver would be justified in a more irate response. But the thing is, I'm an extremely calm person. I have a very hard time writing characters that are angry, since I find it hard to work up a good froth of hate myself. Also, Silver is a whiner, not a rager. Still, I like your version better. I kinda with Silver was that aggressive.

I don't mind wordiness. I like plot/character development. It's about time we had some of that anyway rather than mindless violence.

Wait a minute here. If there not on Mobius then how can Sonic be there? Doesn't he live there? Was he not born there? I like the story don't get me wrong, its just a little confusing.

Actually, no. In the games Sonic has always been on Earth. Sonic's world was dubbed "Mobius" in the American cartoons and comics due to Yugi Naka's poor English skills... in an interview about Sonic 2, he said "We're doing interesting things with mobius", referring to the Moebius strip-like corkscrew things in Emerald Hill Zone. The people at SEGA of America at the time took this to mean that Sonic's world was called Mobius, and obviously things spiraled into all kinds of weirdness from there. Ironically, Sonic X sort of confused things more by making Sonic an inter-dimensional alien or whatever from an unnamed planet which seems a lot more like Mobius than Earth. But Sonic X has its own separate canon.
So yeah. If GOTF was based off the Archie comics or SatAM, then it would be Mobius. But I chose to follow the games as much as possible, so they're on Earth.
I hope I didn't just confuse you more with all this alternate canon stuff.

No no. I just didn't know that. While I of course like the games I am also an avid follower of the comics and watched all the shows. Yes my childhood was spent being a Sonic nerd. But whats so bad about that? Nothing, that's what. And no you didn't confuse me. Thanks for replying!
