And yet, his expression is almost peaceful and he seems like he could be quite quietly charming is he wished. I very much enjoy that coat of his.

One question: did you mean to put the dates going backwards? Because the content of the entries seems to be going forwards.

Don't be silly, I love crows. And so does He.

Bull! People are always picking on corvids! Just 'cause they're smart birds and scavengers! It's not fair! They don't deserve such a reputation!

Now, now, you're just overreacting. I am in fact aligned to the Norse perception of corvids as wise and ancient.
Also, they eat eyes, and I can respect that.

They like eyes, yes.
Corvids are interesting, I take it you are referring to the two mythical birds 'thought' and 'memory' used by Odin to report on the world? They're the only birds that can recognize individual people, even years later. They are seriously the smartest birds out there, but have you ever seen a 'good' one in fiction? Never!

I really like the sketchy style, yet the lines are pretty clear. Can't wait to see the finished version~

It's darkness. Notice the abstraction of form at His elbow? The idea is that as the story progresses His corporeal form degenerates and distorts more and more, until by the end He is simply a seething mass of darkness, full of hate and malice and desire.

Can't cite him as inspiration, but yes, now that you mention it, I see the resemblance. Except Alex Mercer was a disappointment. Where was the Hannibal Lecter with superpowers I was promised?

It was pretty innovative all the same. No other game has pulled off that sort of shapeshifting extravaganza as well as it did, as far as I know.
TOO MUCH INNOVATION LEADS TO DEATH!
