Description
PREVIOUS "ALEX IS A PIRATE" PAGES: eviltomp.deviantart.com/galler…PHEW! That was annoying... but I think this version is MUCH better than the one I posted previously. You can see the nowhere-as-good version here:

I'm also going to try to experiment with NOT using a brush pen for line weight variance and stick with a single line weight throughout. This comes at a great time, because my brush pen ran out of ink! But also... in my journey to learn more about inking techniques, I've been going over a lot of my graphic novels and being more conscious of how they ink. Recently I rediscovered my copy of not simple by Natsume Ono, and noticed that she was still able to create dynamic characters even if the art style was simple and drawn with a single line width:

To which, I'm gonna try to study this book a bit more and see what lessons I can take from it!

Never let it be said that I won't take advice!
...but seriously, yeah, looks like barreling through three comics in a single day wasn't really a good idea; I was so tired I caught myself wanting to take the easy route, and it shows.
To which, unless someone does comics professionally, I can't imagine how someone can run a three-a-week comic series between work, school, and/or other obligations...

To be fair, the only other person I've seen running a three-a-week comic series in this format seems to not be doing anything else. Like... their commissions. Or their other comic series. Or working. Or going to school. Or studying.

Well, yeah, there's that.
When I worked on my previous web comic series, I found is highly improbable for me to maintain a MWF or even MW format... mostly because of work and (non-art-related) school. And I kept needing to revise my script to iron out massive inconsistencies. I even dropped out a good fifteen or so pages from the story because it just didn't fit with the story one bit. I just can't imagine holding up a MWF schedule, unless I want to cut out a lot of those other important bits...

Thanks!
Yeah, there was just no way I was gonna let myself accept that the previous version was "good enough" in any way.

To which, if they don't play, the game may be turned off. Alex and Crew may or may NOT want their game to be turned off!
