Continued:
The tech in mass effect is impressive but with notable flaws (like all tech) one of which is that the kinetic barriers can't block even a plasma pistol.
Nonetheless like I stated before chief like other Spartans had all traits augmented.
Chief actually was the best leader of the Spartans (didn't start that way at all) you can see how he became so damn good of a Spartan in Halo: The Fall of Reach.
In it he took on a ridiculous amounts of grunts I'm meaning THOUSANDS not only that but until Reach his armor was basically a marine's with shields...
