Aww, she's adorable! May I ask, are they easily tamed? Because I have heard they are compared to budgies and loris, ect. And I'm just curious- I've never had one

From my experience cockatiels are a very easy bird to train. They make great first time birds. They're very sweet and super cuddly. I own 2 right now and they're quieter then my parakeets and finches. The first bird I ever trained was a cockatiel named Pearl. Cockatiels are 1 of the best starter birds to train. Make sure its hand raise that will make it easier to train. And they can't bite as hard as other birds which is good if you don't want scares on your hands from your birds like me. Don't get 1 on a impulse they can live to be 20.

I have 5 zebra finches, 2 parakeets, 2 cockatiels, and a senegal parrot who likes to hurt me. I got them all from people who couldn't care from them any more or from the animal shelter I volunteer at.
