Description
"Good morning, children! What a truly special day it is today, which makes me think of some of my favorite stories! Do you like stories children? Of course! Would you like to hear about the origin of the Myriapoda? The Myriapoda. It's my-ri-a- the millipedes and centipedes! Those things! Do you want to know how they came to be? Well gather round and gather close, for here is a tale to hear! It happened long, long ago, well before any of us were around. It was a time before time, a world of primordial forces and primitive gods. The sea was sludge and the landmasses were born fresh from its curdled tides, life had yet to be truly awakened. And in that ancient, lost land was a rather special being, one whose mass teemed and seethed with tubular lifeforms. She was the Mother of Worms, the great entity who brought forth the slithering creatures of the world. No, not snakes, you fools! Worms! Snakes aren't worms! Anyways, she walked this ancient land, spreading her kin and gaining new knowledge through meditation and night classes. Days were hot, so it was best to stay underground at that time. Night was much better for learning and what not, easier to read when you aren't desiccating. But she did not walk this path alone, no no! It was there that she found another entity who traveled the primordial earth, and it was the Father of Bugs! All things creepy and crawly came from him and he- no, not snakes! Snakes don't crawl! They slither! Yes, I know worms slither but they aren't the same thing! Snakes came from the Uncle of Serpents, okay? Now no more interruptions! Now where was I? Ah yes! Mother of Worms met the Father of Bugs during one of their night classes, right before one of their big exams. He was quite nervous about the upcoming test, and she offered to help him study. It was organic chemistry, and we all know how fun that is! So the two met together for several nights, going over all their notes and books, and that is where the spark happened! The two grew close to one another, and soon they began to date. Many happy days and nights followed after that test (despite the fact that both got only about 80% on the exam, but that worked) and they knew that their future belonged together. It was during their trip to New Zealand when Father of Bugs finally proposed to her, and she happily said yes. Soon after, they found themselves a wonderful little home in suburbia, complete with picket fence and a two car garage. With decent jobs and good paychecks, they settled themselves down in a nice, quiet life, but things were not yet complete! The primitive land hungered for new life and the primordial forces that brought forth the effluvial grime of existence could not be abated! The amalgamated moon shone bright that night, and its haunting light beckoned the things from beyond! And a few months later, Mother of Worms gave birth to their first child, whom they named Millie. Millie was a curious little girl with a lot of legs, like a thousand of them or something. She was a quiet and shy child, and her parents nearly burst with pride and love when she came into their lives. So much joy came from this occasion, that the two decided they should add one more child to the family. And that is where Cedric came in! He was much like Millie, but a bit more outgoing and precocious. He also had venomous legs he used as fangs, which was troublesome, but boys will be boys! With two happy children and two loving parents, the family lived for many joyful years. As time went on, their children spread themselves across the earth, as well as their children and their children's children! And now our world is just teeming with the many-legged little critters! Centipedes and millipedes as far as the eye can see! So many wonderful children coating this planet that we foolishly believe to be ours! How long can such a false reign last? How long until the throne crumbles beneath our feet and our blasphemous flesh is swallowed by the rightful, squirming heirs? Who knows, but it won't be after 10pm! Father of Bugs is quite strict with curfew! Ha ha! And that is that! The origin of Myriapoda! Wasn't that a lovely story? Now does anyone have any questions- oh my, would you just look at the time?!"

Mother of Worms was just some random name that came to mind. The rest of the madness soon followed.
