Red Leader's design that will be used in a future story (no pun intended) for this project.
As Red Leader has not made any appearances in Eddsworld yet, some creativity had to be used to make a too-many-details design for him for an idea of mine. That's your cue to not think of this design as canon in any way!
Continuing from the description for the last concept art...

The Red Leader may most likely not end up looking like this in canon, but he could in a distant future! This is how the Red Leader would look like in the new future created after WTFuture. In that new future, he would rule the world as a dictator with an iron fist. He would also have strong connections with the creation of new weapons, as well as having control over the military.
Just as the Red Leader has people who look up to him without realizing how awful he is, there would be people who fear for their lives because of his rule or are not afraid to go against him.
Though the new future may not be that bad for his legion of devotees or his officers, he punishes those who oppose his views/threatens his dictatorship and is not above to ordering their execution or torturing them for giggles. And that's not even describing what he orders his officers to do to enforce his rule...

But how does he gain so many followers or underlings to work for him? Blackmail is a common thing he uses, along with "nice" words and impossible promises for a new world under his rule. One of those things would be the factor behind Future Tom and Future Matt working for him. (Don't worry for those two, they end up defecting him and helping Future Edd).

This future's Edd would have been working for him as well, but he had a realization and did an act of defection - which leads to his arrest and order for execution. And that's where that story of this Edd's future-changing would begin!
Why is the Red Leader like this in the new future - what's his motive, anyway? What had to happen in the present time for this future to occur in the first place...?

This idea could be made into a comic or something later on. I'll explain the story and what happens through it in more detail in later deviations relating to this story.

The Red Leader himself isn't immune to the changes this future gave him!
He's still Tord, but in this future, he has gained massive levels of villainy (and we don't know if the Red Leader-to-be in the present time is villainous yet). By that point he is no longer the same person Edd, Tom, and Matt knew him as.
The Red Leader casted away and forgot both his sympathy and empathy for people in return for skills he would need to dictate. He's become more ruthless and intimidating in his methods of dealing with people. His general calmness adds more to his scariness, but he is prone to getting angry when his plans foil (which is a little funny). He fights at the front sometimes as well, and is not afraid of putting his life on the line. The Red Leader puts more bullets in his opposing parties' heads than the opposing parties managing to take a shot at him. But to some twisted extent, he still cares about his former friends and regrets having to resort to hurting them at some point.

Again, if you've made it this far in, I thank you for reading another long description and showing interest in this idea. Red Leader's design is probably a little too overboard.
Yes, the "present-time" Red Leader will be drawn too, as soon as he physically appears in Eddsworld.
