Yesterday I got the chance to see Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde being performed by the FWCS Summer Music Theatre at my old high school
I thought it was pretty good. I told a friend of mine I'd take photos for him. I wish they had better lighting as it was extremely hard to shoot under the given circumstances. Anyways I thought I'd share a few.This part is during the wedding of Dr. Jekyll and Emma Carew. Mr. Hyde Takes over and threatens to kill Emma.

I know, it's freaking hard to shoot in theatre. I tried to take shots of our performance, or actually during the rehearsals, and the lighting conditions are usually terrible. But anyways, I really like what you've captured here. The emotions are shown really well and I like the electric feeling. Especially the couple looks awesome, a great moment to shoot. The black background works well with the red floor as well. I like it, it's always nice to see some theatre photos.
I wish I could go and see some play..

I'm sorry to say it hun, but I really don't like this piece. I feel that there is soo much going on without it actually being focused on anything in particular.
There is to much negative space, all completely in the wrong place. In my opinion, you need it either focused on what Hyde is doing, or what is going on with the gun, or move to another position where you remove some of the negative space from the middle.
sorry to be so.. negative. But, it is only my opinion, after all.

Yeah, I can understand that.
And I always worry about being negative, but then I think, most artists apprieciate it more than "omg nice shot +fav". Although I'm not digging at anyone specifically, you understand.

i think its a very cool shot, very well balanced and even with good lighting
