Cast in the name of Cosplay....This was my very last minute Big-O costume for AnimeFest 2010. I am very glad that I was able to complete it on time, the experience was totally worth it xD

I'd say start with cardboard or craft foam, look up tutorials online and start with basic shapes and small projects. Work your way up from there

quick question, did you add the the giant elevator compartment, that roger use when he is in his car and does not have a way to get inside from the ground,
