Getting this out there first, a great special thanks to my friend Yamazaki ([link] ) who let me play around with his toys quite generously for this story.

And so here it is, the first page of Missy vs Cathy and a quick intro of the 3 characters in this comic; Martina, Cathy and Missy, though only Missy's back is shown here.

Panel 1: Martina is showing Cathy into Miyazaki Gym, home of Missy among others. I did a little homage to Yama here with the fight posters he created adorning the background. I tried to show Cathy a bit in awe of the work put into making the work that made the gym and the stories come to life, though I'm not a good enough artist to get that across. And yes, Cathy's bag and Martina's shoes are not actually colored, don't really know how I missed that.

Panel 2: Don't ask me what's going on with Cathy's nose there. Though I think the blurred background does work nicely with the foreground two without taking away from them. And my God...I didn't relize how big I was drawing eyes at that time...

Panel 3: I still like the look on Cathy's face there.

Panel 4: Okay...uhm...just ignore the entertainment center combo there, I'll just say that the plan on buying a better one when the prize money starts coming in.
Oh, and here's a few shout outs again to Yama, who's quite the fan of KOF and Hellsing. Don't ask WHY the Hellsing wallscroll is behind the TV, but I did the background seperately and then put it in and didn't even relize it until later.
Oh, and the video game Missy is playing is a sprite edit with a few KOF gals made to look like Missy and her rival Regina. Wow...that arm looks bad though.

Final Open Panel: The BIG scream, with Martina showing off her temper that she rarely does. I tried to show everything getting knocked off the floor from Martina screaming, though it just looks odd. Especially when you consider that the TV is unplugges yet is still showing a picture.

Martina and Missy belong to , so don't screw with him.
