She s a healer and has a fucking huge silence-field (silences are one of the most annoying forms of crowd control in-game!). This makes her quite annoying. And that s why I love her! "Oh, you hit my AD-carry? - nope! Back to full health!"
Soraka is the ultimate nope. Also, her ultimate global is global: If you pay attention, you can save your teammate from across the map!

Yeah, also, she gains movement-speed when she s running at allies that are below 40% health. The only downside: For her heal she has to give some of her life (otherwise she would be completely broken in-game! Infinite heals anyone?). She s a good support-champion, annoying in lane but weak during teamfights (her attacks aren t the strongest or fastest and she lacks crowd control, so she s currently a bit off-meta. But a fun and easy to learn pick.)

Oh no, that works with a different spell where you have to hit an enemy. You steal life from them to heal you back up!

Yup, that s true! But it s good to know some anatomy-basics since it will help you with altered and cartoony stuff quite a lot. Also helps me as an Illustrator.
