The speedpaint is a lie! - It ended up takeing a couple of hours anyway! (3-4 I guess)Drawing Spyro yesterday inspired me to draw the more badass purple dragon from the series: Malefor! As people familiar with the series notice, I used the official artwork of him as a reference - And that s why he has only one wing! (something I never understood about the legend of Spyro-concept-art) - I may add the second wing later - It kinda breaks the image when it s missing!
Anyways! I made some WIP-screenshots and I m at it putting it all in a small Tutorial!

here you go : sta.sh/0j6r2h8s8q7 , this is one of the very few things i have left from a once great game . it's a scavenger type dragon , found in scorching deserts . these guys were fast , smart , merciless , not very strong , and were mostly fire dragons ( desert , duh !!! )
it was based on a digitaltutors model he saw . you should see his Eclipse model !!! it's awesome at its most awesome !!!

i asked , and he said no !!! he said i gave him one week to come up with a design , and he was too busy to think of one , and just decided to copy the model he had seen online , which took almost half a day .
i want it too !!! but i don't think he'll ever find it . his models are named like " dragon_model_1 " , " dragon_model_2 " , ..... , " dragon_model_1089 " !!! and they're all pretty detailed , so it's gonna take a lot of time for him to load them into Zbrush .
but since he based the model on himself , it was a tall and long , slim , muscular dragon . his ribs showed from under the skin , as well as his cheekbones . he had long horns , and a tail that went on forever and ever ( hey , he did TKD , he needs long range attacks !!! ) . also , he had a calm face , but turned into a psychotic one on occasions . as for his voice , it was like Wesker from RE : code veronika . engineer ? maybe , computer engineer ? those guys read about modularity and changeable software all the time !!! i think their rule number 1 is " software changes , deal with it " or something like that . he should know better than to name things that way !!!
i told him about how you wanted to see his files , and he said he's busy right now , but will upload once he finds the time . he also said don't count on less than 3 or so months as he must finish several projects !!!

since YOU requested it , he will . i think it'll be around January that he'll finally be free of extensive uni work . from that moment on , you can expect a ton of artwork from him !!! apparently , he's kept the models , he just doesn't recognize them due to his bad naming policy . the dragons he'll probably upload first will be Eclipse and malefor ( for you and me , respectively ) , after that you can expect moon and several other characters we borrowed from others ( including HER , i'll tell him NOT to give credit !!! ) . you'll also witness zombies and such !!!
