So, after a long break I m finally back to the comic, now with a new art-design. I ve changed Malefor s colors a bit - I guess, the past design was to much of an Spyro-recolor, so I ve darkened the colors and changed the head-shape slightly. Also, new background-style. whoa, just finished the fourth chapter! I suddenly start to wonder, if my co-author who does most of the storyboards for me, had read the same story!
Haha, and no, I don t know anyone like that! I know people, that seem pretty rough, but are truely nice on the inside if you know them well enough, nice people with a mean attitude and so on. Also a big problem is, when there is only one type of character: I ve seen that several times, that all characters of an artist have pretty much the same personality.

Yes, but now that I know about it, I can do something about it! I will stick to the original concept he had, but give it my own touch, since my character-interpretation is way different I guess. Well, I ve asked him to make it open, so I can add in. So he only does the, well, I wouldn t say concept, since the concept is mine, and I do the details, add stuff in. The following scenes of the comic are completly written by me.
Agreed! I guess, the whole comic/story-thing is about taking on the risks. Most people stay to the concepts they are familiar and used to. So it s hard to make it not repetive and boring. For me, the whole "lets draw backgrounds!"-thing was a big challenge. I had also been used to work a lot with stereotypes and have only started to move away from that. My current comics mark the beginning of a new artistic style: More mature, deeper characters, other plottings than just my bright, humouristic adventure-comics.

Oh yes! Original Spyro-OCs and the awesome storys! Haha, it s so sad I want to cry! It s sad, that most people just don t get, or don t want to get, the purple dragon rule. I ve a purple myself, but that one lives years after Spyro to obey that simple rule. I never quite got what s up with the whole long lost brother/sister-thing. My characters never were related to an original character in that way - even in my mad fangirl-past (I m so freaking proud of that!). I still have some problems with drawing backgrounds (believe it or not!), that s always the part that takes the longest - But I ve to say it looks much better now and it doesn t cause me to much trouble now, since I improve on that point!

purple dragons are fine but " throughout our history there have only been 2 purple dragons , like you , malefor's power .... " there have only been 2 recorded purple dragons and that's it !!!!!!!!!!!!!! unless it's for the future times , but i'd still be careful about that for nature's balance .

Hm, I work a lot with reference-pictures of the real nature. Now I have, thanks to my uncle, lots of pictures from the alps (that colors!!!!) and Namibia. So I can work around a lot with those!

Thanks^^! That was just the first idea that came to my mind. I like those "nondescript" characters - they don t need to be the shining hero ore the pure evilness to be interesting (we re back at balanced personalities!) - Those worlds are already overloaded with heroes and villains, but never forget about the side-characters that make the world alive!
Oh yes, alps! My uncle showed me some pictures from their ski-trip and I asked if I could get the pictures for my art. The colors are completly awesome, I really would like to upload some of the pictures, but I ve promised to not do so. Well, if everything goes right, I ll make some own this summer! I wanted to go up the "Zugspitze" together with my brother.

Yes sure: You always want your characters to be the best of their kind, but that s sadly not always the real deal. Well, never forget a character s weaknesses! - This counts for both sides, good and evil. In most cases, only the evil characters have a single weakness, but never the hero. Well, there is something like a basic formula for powers: The better powers/weapons/skills and abilities belong to the bad guy! - The hero s life needs to be at a constant danger, so it stays thrilling, but the hard thing is to still keep it interesting. I love to name dragonball for this one: As a child, I ve loved that anime, but now it is repetive and boring in my opinion. Uf, I could talk on for hours on that topic I guess!!!
The Zugspitze (means something like "tip of the train") is the highest mountain here in Germany (2962 m ) It s pronounced something like that: Zoog-spee-dse

i agree with the hero's life , but i also think the hero should have weaknesses too , otherwise it's always " well he can't die , he's the good guy " . same for me for digimon . i liked it as a kid but now that i think about it , it was pretty boring and too repetitive ( big stronger good guy always rips bad weaker guy to shreds ) . that's why i like evangelion ( i think i told you about it , right ? ) . the main protagonist is an emotionally traumatized and weak and whiny character who is in constant fear ( tries so hard not to be a coward ) . no one is invincible in the series .

Hm, maybe I ve described it wrong, since I agree with the hero needs weaknesses, too. Oh yeah, Digimon! Hm, right, it was pretty much the same as with dragonball! I always enjoyed Detective Conan - well, it is mostly also always the same, but every case was something new, new conditions and so on. And yes, you ve told me before. I ve heard lots of positive feedback for evangelion - should take the time and watch it finally, since I need a new series to be addicted to right now!
Oh yes, it s awesome! It s on the border to austria (about 4 hours away from where I live) - That trip will be ten hours walking for two days.

detective conan eeeeeeeeeeehhhhhhhhhhhhh ? maybe i'll watch it if i have the time ( added to notes ) . really ? everyone seems to be enjoying it then . well if you want to see it , DON'T watch the rebuild series ( different and worse plot + there are no guarantees as to when the next on will come out , but the soundtrack is SSSSSSSSSSSSOOOOOOOOOOO amazing !!!!!!! ) . get the original ones from 1995 or so . watch the rebuild after the original and only if you liked them .

Haha, I guess, there are over 600 episodes now! (I also missed the episodes from 300 to 600, since I had no time!) - Well, I love good crime-series, and Detective Conan is easy to get into, even if you ve missed a few episodes, since two episodes (sometimes 4 when it s a special) are one case. Some cases have to do with each other, but most aren t connected (well, work of a private detective!) - even if the episodes with the black organisation can be confusing if you zapped in for the first time.
Okay, put that one to the notes: The 1995 one, not the rebuild!

the evangelion rebuild isn't as bad as i say it is really !!!!!! it's just that there's so much amazing animation and soundtrack that you'll lose the plot !!! besides from the second movie the plot suddenly changes . the difference is like reading harry potter and watching the movie ( less detail and much better graphics ) . i suggested you " start " with the series and only if you like them watch the movie .

what ? it's 26 episodes ( 25 or so minutes each , it cost so much it was stopped !!!! ) and 3 movies , each about 30 minutes , so it's natural . just google " neon genesis evangelion episode x " and when you hit the big 26 for x , google " evangelion : death and rebirth " and then " end of evangelion part x " with x being 1 or 2 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! can't believe i remember all that !!!!!!!!!

Uf, hard one! I can t really decide between fate (the beginning is very intense!), carnage (soft, also a bit sad, but also with a small, happy undertone. Gives me some mixed feelings)and In my spirit (that kind of heavy rythm lets you guess of something big to happen!). But I also like their version of the good olยด Beethoven!

right about all of them !!!!!! if you ever watch the second movie , you'll see that " fate " has a very very intense scene , carnage has a sad and happy and epic scene , in my spirit is the biggest thing that ever happened !!!!!!!! but since i haven't seen the third movie , i don't know about the ultimate soldier and beethoven ( although in the series you'll understand why they put beethoven for the bg music ) .
as for me , beethoven clearly stands atop the rest !!!!! but as for the others , i used to love in my spirit until i found out about the ultimate soldier . i can't get it out of my mind for about 3 or 4 weeks now !!!
