Something fast I did today. I finally want to get used to Flash-animating. The purple fire looks a bit weird and unfinished, I know. Actually wanted to add a glow-effect, but couldn t find it. Well, just need to get deeper into the tutorials I guess! However, even if it s unfinished it looks quite good!Related content

It s really, really simple-written. I borrowed it me once from the public library. There is a second book (twice as expensive!). That s more for the professionals and people, that are already used to the basics!

So agreed! One of my class-members lost his formula-book once and had to buy a new one - man, those things are so freaking expensive - and they don t even have a hard-cover!
I ve looked for it on my own, but couldn t find it. Hm are over 600 pages.

i was lucky i got some of my more important books ( more than 1000 pages , colored and hard cover ) back when they were cheaper !!!!

Yeah, at school, we could get the whole book-package for 80β¬ (okay, I actually only needed my formula-book (30β¬)!) - what is a fair deal for those books. Haha, I will never forget my up-to-date-english-book! It s funny, what it says about computers: "Always buy a computer faster than 150MHz - Everything below that is to slow!" - You don t say, English-book, you don t say!

you didn't look into the fiber directly did you ? because it's like laser , it's not good for your eyes .

Still a though job: The main-server-room had 18Β°C and in the room at the other end of the fiber there was something between 35 and 40Β°C. And I ve spend the entire day running between those two temperature-zones.

Haha, remember the Magma-diver-episode? Well, my user-name has a completly different origin: At my class, there was a guy with long hair. From one day to the other, he shaved his head. We asked them " Ruben, what the hell happened to your hair?!" and he said " I went to the 10β¬-Barber, the haircut looked like an exploded pineapple, so I shaved my hair of!" From that moment on, exploded pineapple was our term for bad hair day. My hair always looked a bit messy, and so, I ve chosen that nickname.
