Still trying to install my shit. Now, I ve got an Max-exam coming tuesday and my internet decided once again to be a total bitch about it once again. I m already seeing it coming: Tuesday will be the first time in half a year where I opened 3ds max. Well, help me, Photoshop 100%, you re my only hope! Just a little rant-post here.Related content

You ve never seen the teapot? - Scroll through the basic-primitives and have some fun placing random teapots in your scene XD !
Well, Maya named it soccer-ball, that s the only reason why I call it like that! But honestly, I ve never used that primitive to begin with! - I stick to the classic sphere! - It uses Quads (And two pretty ugly tri-poles on top and bottom) and is by that far more easier to work with!

Yeah, the football is kinda lame. But we also got a Helix, and that thing is actually kinda useful. Spares you the time of messing around with a cylinder and the twist-deformer. But the football sucks. It just exists and that s it!

Probably not one single cube. I love to disassemble my meshes in several smaller parts (keeps the framerate smooth - also helps with different materials quite well XD !) - But yeah, most parts would start out with a cube! - I also like the cylinder. It s nice when you need a somewhat rounder shape.

- I sometimes also like to use the quad-draw-tool. It s a fancy little thing! (perfect for weapons of all kind!)

Well, it s awesome to use in orthographic view: You insert a reference-image, trace the outlines, select the faces and extrude. Now you have the basic shape you can work with. More or less, it s just a fancy cube!

Oh, it s an actual tool! you set 4 points and click in the middle of them. This creates a face. Works a bit faster than taking a cube, extrude a face and adjust the single vertices to your liking. It s a neat little tool. I like it a lot. It s also awesome to do retopos of a highpoly-object.

Well, for me that point was Raiden and his stupid-ass-girlfriend in MGS2! - Hiimdaisy just topped it of! - I love those comics! It just shows how ridiculous the whole Metal Gear-Plot actually is!

Some of the older games were for Playstation (It was Sony-exclusive before Sony sold the rights to Nintendo) The first original game was released on the PS2 (but had pretty low popularity outside Japan, so this might be hard to find) - MH Freedom, Freedom 2 and Freedom Unite came out on PSP (I think if you can find a good PSP-emulator for PC, you should also be able to find at least Freedom Unite. That one was quite popular). For PC: Frontier G10, an MMORPG is also coming out (well, it s technically already out in Japan). Monster Hunter Tri Ultimate (stupid title, I know) came out on WiiU (that s the one I m currently Β playing)
