I love your art style and the colors!The eyes are really beautiful and realistic.I like that Β the box that you've drawn isn't your limit and the ponies are poking out.It's amazing how deep you're going into the characters and how you're making the reader feel with playing with the ponies' emotions and going really deep into them and saying so much about them.Even this short comic really showed me Rainbow Dash' emotions and how she really feels.The My Little Pony show doesn't tell much about the characters.It focuses on the main character Twilight Sparkle which was inspired by the main character of the show Littlest Pet Shop which is Hasbro's too.One word can't describe your ideas and/or your art style.

I really like this one. Sort of melancholy, but sweet and awe-inspiring at the same time.

words fail to express this. many times i have tried to write a comment that would justify this but it never sufficient. this is the kind of artwork i return to, the kind that make it shiver down my spine and keep me wake at night. I will not lie, it must be the THE biggest impact I've had from a deviation. it's dramatic, it rages in my mind and stay there. this may seam like a lot of sweet talk, maybe it is. but this artwork deserves no less.
Now I am at a loss for words. I fear I always will be.

Amazing. I am really liking this series so far, especially your art and story style. It's very... different, almost surreal. Even though I seriously love your piece on Pinkie Pie, and at this point in time it is the most recent part that you've published, I'm choosing to comment on RD's because I can really identify with the inexplicable feeling of hopelessness that can often follow intense euphoria and triumph. You've depicted Dash in an incredibly admirable and honest way here. In spite of (or maybe because of) the fact that this is a side of her personality that we don't usually see in the show, it is a beautifully accurate picture of her nature and her character. (This applies to all of your Time Off pieces so far. I seriously can't decide which of the three is my favourite.)
Another thing: I really love the varying shades of sadness that have coloured all three of your pieces so far. It's a lot more pronounced in RD's and in Pinkie's, but I still see it - as a much more subtle tone - in Rarity's part. It's very affecting, and very beautiful.
I also reaaally like how you incorporated Fluttershy. The piece wouldn't be the same and wouldn't have as much impact as it did without Fluttershy and her reactions, I think.
(The only gripe I have for this piece is the font used for RD's thoughts, and that's just me being picky and it has nothing to do with your absolutely stunning art.)
Overall amazing; and that goes for all three parts of your Time Off series.
Jeez, I've really rambled on. Often I find myself not commenting on some artwork that I really like, but I just happened to have a lot to say for once on this particular series. In short, really great work.

More awesome than a Sonic rainboom... a Lightning rainboom!

Now that, is the definition of AWESSOME! The way you drew the sonic rain boom too look like lightning is amazing! So does this mean RD and Fluttershy's story intertwine?

... thats because it was lightning. she went so fast through that storm cloud that she gatthered alot of the electricity so when she achieved the boom it resulted in a rainbow lightning instead of the rainboom

Whoo-whee, what there is not to get? Rainbow Dash is a very goal orientated and competitive filly. She needs a goal in her life. At first, she's sad and depressed because she thinks she has already had it all. But RD never gives up. She shakes away the depressed feelings and puts her faith to test. And it works; a new dazzling move is made and in the end, burnt but content RD lies restfully knowing she hasn't reached her peak just yet. There is still something to work and hope for.

She feels as though she's peaked, but what do you suppose a person like RD would do if they wanted to do better? Better yet, what do you suppose she would do if someone else told her she couldn't do better?

ponies were saying that dash had peaked. that no matter how hard she tried she would never get any better. Dash probable knew that they were probable right, but being the stubborn pony she is she thought of a way to prove them, and herself wrong. Dash knew the danger but knew that if she didn't at least try then she would never be the same, so even though she was severely wounded she was happy because she did it and that meant she could still get better.
